Westward Movement Flyer Westward Movement Flyer Students are to make a propaganda flyer or poster that would entice a person in the mid-1800's to move westward. Creativity	Poor Project had no original thought.	Fair Project showed little creativity.	Good Project was fairly creative.	Great Project was extremely creative and it was clear that the student put a large amount of thought into it.
Visual	Poor Lack of effort is evident, not visually appealing. Product is not relevant to project. Messy, illegible.	Fair Students put some effort into visual, slightly appealing. The product is slightly relevant to the project.	Good Effort is evident in a visually appealing product that does not detract from the project.	Great The students went above and beyond to create a very visually appealing product that enhances the project.
Slogan	Poor Student included no slogan on the flyer.	Fair Student's slogan on the flyer was incomplete or not on topic.	Good Student's slogan on flyer was not historically accurate or original.	Great Students slogan was historically accurate, original and compelling.
