Student needs a high level of supervision to complete the initial sanitation and setup procedures. This includes Draping, Scienctific Brushing and scalp analysis, seating of client, removal of products from containers, sanitizing work station and hands before performing any service on a client.

Student proceeded to complete the initial sanitation and setup. Making sure that drape was intact and scalp and hair analysis was performed before services.

Tool Use/Motor Coordination

Student is unable to use more than one tool at a time. Continually sets tools down. Stuggles to manipulate wraps and rods when winding hair. Struggles to manipulate the round bruch and blowdryer without setting one or both tools down frequently.

Manicure

Student needs a high level to complete the task and the manicure setup. No completion of sanitation steps on hands and model's hands.

Sanitizes hands and removes polish from one nail only. Cuticles pushed back porperly. Applies base and top coats of polish with little error.
Good

Sanitizes hands and removes polish form one nail only. Cuticle pushed back porperly. Applies base and top coat of polish. Massage performed and checks nails for traces of polish around cuticles.
Excellent

Student was able to demonstrate understanding of information provided by instructor and followed all manicure steps, as-well-as all safety criteria, such as disposing of waste, kit remained closed, removed products from containers by using spatulas to avoid contamination, and used sanitized implements.
Infection Control sanatation
