Basketball
	Beginner 1 pts	Intermediate 2 pts	Advance 3 pts	Expert 4 pts
Dribbling	Beginner -Student cannot dribble the basketball with control while moving -Dribbles with palm of hand, slaps ball -Rigid stance, knees not bent. -Head down	Intermediate -Student can sometimes dribble the basketball while moving -Does not have good control -Cannot dribble with head up -Sometimes dribbles with finger pads	Advance -Student can dribble the basketball with good control and proper positioning -Student dribbles with head up -Student dribbles with finger pads, knees bent and pushes the ball -Able to pivot while dribbling	Expert -Student can always dribble the basketball with excellent control, proper positioning, and with both hands -Student dribbles with head up, finger pads, knees bent and pushes the ball
Shooting	Beginner -Student cannot shoot the ball successfully. -Student does not follow through. -Student uses two hands to shoot	Intermediate -Student can sometimes shoot the ball using “BEEF” technique -Student uses two hands instead of one to shoot.	Advance -Student shoots the ball using “BEEF” technique most of the time. -Student uses one hand to shoot and the other as support.	Expert -Student always shoots the ball demonstrating the "BEEF" technique -Bend/Balance, Elbow, Eyes, Follow-through -Student uses one hand to shoot and the other as support.
Passing	Beginner -Student cannot pass the ball successfully -Student does not follow through on pass	Intermediate -Student can sometimes pass the ball successfully -Student sometimes follows through the pass	Advance -Student passes the ball correctly most of the time -Student follows through on the pass most of the time	Expert -Student always passes the ball with precision and accuracy - Student always follows through on the pass
Sportsmanship and Classroom Etiquette	Beginner Student does not demonstrate application of good sportsmanship and etiquette in the classroom.	Intermediate Student sometimes demonstrates application of good sportsmanship and etiquette in the classroom	Advance The student most of the time demonstrates application of good sportsmanship and etiquette in the classroom.	Expert The student always demonstrates application of good sportsmanship and etiquette in the classroom.
