Visual Design
Poor
The elements in the layout do not work together to create a visually pleasing design. This is not something that should be turned in as a finished layout design.
Fair
The layout has parts that work together but as a whole it could use a lot of improvement. This would not be a good layout design.
Good
Most of the elements in this layout are working together and the placement of them looks pretty good. There could be some minor improvement but this is a very good layout.
Excellent
This is an excellent layout! The student went above and beyond to create the best layout possible. Way to go!!!!
Craftsmanship
Poor
This is messy and should not be turned in as a finished product.
Fair
This is okay but is lacking in quality in many areas of the layout. The craftsmanship and neatness is not acceptable for this project.
Good
This is pretty good but could be a little cleaner and neater looking in a few places.
Excellent
This has little to no visible flaws. There is little that could be done to improve upon this layout.
Effort
Poor
There was little to no effort put forth toward this layout. It is evident that the student decided to do this last minute and it is an unacceptable layout design.
Fair
This is obviously lacking in effort but is not a total disaster. The effort is not worthy of a finished product.
Good
This looks pretty good and it is obvious that good effort was put forth.
Excellent
This is excellent, the student went above and beyond and it is evident in the finished product.
