Assembly/Solder	Poor Not soldered together well. Solder is chunky and voids are evident. Burning evident. Wires are frayed, and solder is clumped on.	Fair Solder has a couple of bumps, slight voids are visible. Wires are neat, however the solder is inconsistent and clumped on.	Good Solder is smooth and even. Wires are neat, however the solder is inconsistent and clumped on.	Excellent Solder is consistent around all joints, no drips or voids. Wires are neat, however the solder is inconsistent and clumped on.
Function Generator Working	Poor Function Generator does not work at all.	Fair Function Generator works on 50% of the modes.	Good Function Generator work on 85% of the modes.	Excellent Function Generator works on 95% if the modes.
Accuracy	Poor A weakness in the joint is visually apparent. Plan specifications not followed at all.	Fair The joint looks solid, however, breaks when tension is applied. Accurate to 70% of specified tolerance.	Good The joint looks solid, however, breaks when tension is applied. Accurate to 85% of specified tolerance.	Excellent The joint looks solid, and holds under tension. 100% accurate.
Safety	Poor Student needs constant reminder to wear safety glasses, and uses soldering equipment in a potentially dangerous manner. Student does not observe safety rules.
