Girls' Wellness Group 
This gender specific class is focused on the physical and emotional well being and positive growth of its participants. Students are expected to follow the social guidelines and overall philosophy of the Wellness Group. Each student will contribute in fundraising efforts, journal writing, physical activities, group discussions and a magazine project.

Exceeded expectations for behavior and personal conduct during class time as outlined in "Commitments and Expectations" list. Built and maintained healthy relationships with group members.

The student did not complete work in a satisfactory manner. Completed only one or fewer writing assignments.
Fair

Marginal effort towards 'zine project assignments. Few assignments completed. Required constant encouragement and needed individual supervision throughout all assignments.
Satisfactory

Project ideas were applicable to the 'zine project. Student completed 2 or more writing assignments, yet they have the ability to contribute more.
Exceeds expectations

Introduced ideas and concepts for the 'zine project. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Completed 3 or more writing assignmnets (personal bio, individual page, ect.)
Creativity/ Comprehension

Needs improvement

The student's work demonstrates little or no evidence of original thought or understanding.
Fair

Creative effort is minimal. Also, the student's comprehension of the material is minimal and therefore their project lacks the ability to connect with the overall theme of the group project.
Satisfactory

The student's work demonstrates an understanding of the material introduced in class. Their work demonstrates originality but could be improved upon with more effort.
Exceeds expectations

The student's work demonstrates a unique level of originality. Also, the student's work shows understanding of the principles discussed in class and the ablity to apply them to their projects.
