Attendance Rubric
	Poor 10 pts	Fair 15 pts	Good 20 pts	Excellent 25 pts
Class Attendance	Poor Student has three or more unexcused absences.	Fair Student has no more than two unexcused absences.	Good Student has no more than unexcused absence.	Excellent Student has no unexcused absences.
Class Participation	Poor The student rarely ever remains on task or participates in discussion without being prompted.	Fair The student occasionally participates and joins discussion without being prompted.	Good Student participates at all times but rarely answers questions and joins group discussions voluntarily.	Excellent Student participates at all times during class and voluntarily answers questions and joins group discussions.
Class Respectfulness/Attitude	Poor Student is rarely respectful to teacher and rest of class. Student has a bad attitude toward others, makes rude comments or lashes out in class.	Fair Student has a fair attitude toward classmates and instructor, interacts minimally, occasionally disengages in classroom activites.	Good Student is almost always respectful to teacher and rest of class	Excellent Student is always respectful to teacher and classmates. Student actively participates with classmates and instructor, displays interest in content being discussed, and is engaged in the classroom environment.
Class Disruption	Poor Student constantly disrupts class.	Fair Student frequently disrupts class.	Good Student rarely disrupts class.	Excellent Student never disrupts class.
