Floor Hockey Wrist Shot Floor Hockey Wrist Shot This is the most important shot. The most important thing is the weight transfer. The weight transfer is like a lot of other sports such as baseball and golf. Your weight will transfer from your back to your front leg. Stand perpendicular to your target with your stick cupped on the puck and the puck behind your back foot. Transfer your weight as you move the puck forward, and follow through. When you finish your follow through, your stick should be pointing towards your target at around your waist. 	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Stick placement	Poor Stick starts in the air and finished higher than the waist.	Fair Stick starts on the ground and finishes higher than the waist or stick starts in the air but finishes at or below the waist and points at target.	Good Stick starts on the ground and stick finishes at the waist and pointing at the target.
Foot placement	Poor Legs are together, dominant leg is in front, legs are straight.	Fair Knees are very slightly bent, legs are next to each other.	Good Knees are bent, non-dominant foot is forward.
Weight transfer	Poor There is no weight transfer, arms just move forward.	Fair There is moderate weight transfer from back foot to front foot.	Good There is obvious and forceful weight transference from back foot to front foot.
