Participation	Needs Work The student does not complete individual work or participate in group discussion.	Good The student participates in group discussion but does not complete individual work and vice versa.	Excellent The student completes individual work and participates in discussion.
Job Completion	Needs Work The student does not complete his/her job.	Good The student partially completes his/her job.	Excellent The student completes his/her job and answers questions in complete sentences.
Independent Work Time	Needs Work The student does not use this time wisely.	Good The student uses this time to work on his/her work but does not complete it. Time management needs work.	Excellent The student completes his/her work in the allotted about of time.
Comprehension	Needs Work Student cannot answer questions adequately about the assigned reading.	Good Student can answer questions with some understanding of the reading.	Excellent Student grasps what is going on in the assigned readings. Student can answer all questions from teacher and group members
