Persuasive Essay Rubric Persuasive Essay Rubric Write a persuasive/argument essay. The persuasive essay must contain 5 fully developed supporting paragraphs. Organization & Structure	Level 4 Five quality paragraphs with good transitions between each one. Jane Shaffer method is utilized proficiently.	Level 3 Four paragraphs with some paragraph transitions that need some improvement. Underdeveloped body paragraphs.	Level 2 Organization and structure detract from the content. Essay is disjointed and lacks transition of thoughts. 3-4 paragraphs. Shaffer method is not detectable.	Level 1 - Incomplete
Grammar & Vocabulary	Level 4 Rules of grammar and usage are followed. Language is clear and precise. Sentences display consistently strong, varied structure. Strong use of descriptive vocabulary.
