Hem Casing 5 pts	A Hem fold is the correct width that the instructions called for. Hem is evenly distributed and not puckered or stretched. Both side seams of pants match with side seams of hem casing.	B Hem is folded unevenly in some places. Hem casing may have 1 pucker but mostly evenly distributed. Both side seams of pants match with side seams of hem casing.	C Hem is folded unevenly in some places. Hem casing may have more than 1 pucker but mostly evenly distributed. Side seams of pants match with side seams of hem casing only on one side.	D Hem is folded very unevenly in most places. Hem casing has many puckers without care. Both side seams of pants don't match with side seams of hem casing.
Hem 10 pts	A Hem is correctly sewn with evenly spaced blindstitching. Stitches do not show on the outside. Hem is even and no raw edges are showing.	B 90% of hem is straight and sewn correctly. There are minor mistakes. Hand blindstitches are not spaced evenly.	C 70% of hem is sewn neatly. Hem is mostly straight but some mistakes.	D Hem is not sewn with a blindstitch correctly. If machine made hem, stitching is uneven and sloppy. Hemline is uneven.
Appearance 2.5 pts	A Garment looks store bought. Threads are neat and trimmed.	B One part has mistakes. Threads are neat and trimmed.	C Two parts have mistakes on the project.	D Project does not look like it is suppose to. 3 or more parts are mishapen. Most threads are not neatly trimmed.
