STEMS #3 Reading Comprehension Questions Students are required to complete a STEM card for each STEM. They will add two additional words for each given STEM and add the definition for each word. Meets the Standard Student completed 75% of STEMS cards correctly.	Exceeds the Standard Student completed all (100%) of the STEMS cards correctly. Student fully demonstrates mastery of the STEMS.
Form	Below the Standard Student did not use complete sentences with the STEMS.	Approaching the Standard Student completed at least 50% of the STEMS in complete sentences.	Meets the Standard Student completed at least 50% of the STEMS in complete sentences.	Exceeds the Standard Student answered all with complete sentences.
Grammar	Below the Standard There are numerous spelling or grammar errors, making the answer impossible to understand. There is no punctuation.	Approaching the Standard There are numerous spelling or grammatical errors, making the answer difficult to understand. Most Puncutation is not used correctly.	Meets the Standard A few spelling or grammar mistakes are evident, but do not diminish the meaning of the answer. Some punctuation is misused.	Exceeds the Standard Proper use of modern English spelling and grammar is employed consistently throughout the assignment. Punctuation is utilized correctly and only when necessary.
