Peacock Project K-Students will color a peacock using primary colors for the body and secondary colors for the feathers. 2-4th: Students will draw a peacock and color the body with the primary colors and the feathers with the secondary colors.
	Poor 2 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 4 pts	Excellent 5 pts
Color Theory 20 % Students learned how to identify the primary and secondary colors and the proper use of materials.	Poor Student does not understand the differences of primary and secondary colors.	Fair Student starts to understand the differences in color but not making the connections of primary and secondary colors.	Good Student understands the differences of primary and secondary colors.	Excellent Student fully understands the color theory of primary and secondary colors. Additionally, understands how to draw from reference.
Creativity 20 %	Poor Student does not demonstrate their own individual ideas.	Fair Student starts to demonstrate their own creativity but lacks confidence pull through with their plan.	Good Student shows great creativity skills! As project progresses, students apply new creative ideas.	Excellent Student demonstrates excellent creativity skills and applies new ideas before other classmates come up with the idea.
Craftsmanship 20 %	Poor Student does not show craftsmanship skills.	Fair Student shows some craftsmanship but does not apply the extra time to the are make art piece something to be proud of.	Good Student puts in a great amount of craftsmanship and takes the time to make sure the art piece looks it's best.	Excellent Student without question, will go over every little detail and make the art piece look the very best.
Participation 20 %	Poor Student does not put in any work effort in class.	Fair Student does put in effort to work on the assignment. But has to be reminded to keep on task.	Good Student uses time wisely to put in as much work as possible to get class work done.	Excellent Student uses time wisely to put in as much work as possible to get class work done. Student participates in clean up until the very end of class.
