Song/Style Performance
	Level 4 10 pts	Level 3 8 pts	Level 2 6 pts	Level 1 4 pts
Pitch Accuracy	Level 4 Plays every music pitch correctly with excellent fingering choices.	Level 3 Plays almost all of the music pitches correctly with good fingering choices.	Level 2 Plays more than half of the music pitches correctly with adequate fingering choices.	Level 1 Plays some of the music pitches correctly.
Rhythmic Accuracy	Level 4 Plays all of the selection with correct rhythms and steady tempo.	Level 3 Plays almost all of the selection with correct rhythm. Tempo may vary slightly.	Level 2 Plays more than half of the selection with a good sense of rhythm. Tempo varies greatly or stops and starts.	Level 1 Plays some of the selection with adequate rhythmic sense. Tempo is very broken and there is minimal sense of time.
Tone/Sound Quality	Level 4 Plays with a full sound and nice tone	Level 3 Plays most of the time with a full tone.	Level 2 Plays some of the time with a full tone.	Level 1 Makes a sound.
Posture	Level 4 Sits with the head up, shoulders back, arms out, feet on the floor, and back straight.	Level 3 Sits with the head slightly down, shoulders slightly forward, arms lowered, wrists down, feet on the floor, and back straight, leaning on the chair.	Level 2 Sits with the head down, shoulders down, and forward, arms lowered but not resting on the body, and back bent.	Level 1 Sits with head down, shoulders down and forward, arms resting on body, feet crossed, fully extended or not touching the floor, and back bent.
Left/Right Hand	Level 4 Left and right hand are always in the correct position. Uses correct left and right hand (PIMA) fingering. 0-1 errors	Level 3 Left and right hand are mostly in the correct position. Uses almost all correct left and right hand (PIMA) fingering. 2-4 errors	Level 2 Left and right hand are sometimes in the correct position. Uses some correct left and right hand (PIMA) fingering. 5-8 errors	Level 1 Left and right hand are not in the correct position. Uses incorrect left and right hand (PIMA) fingering. 9 or more errors.
