Skill performed with attention to most details of technique, but hasn't attained proficiency in technique style yet. Some technical errors.

Only some understanding of technical elements (ie. footwork, quality of movements, body positions) demonstrated in technique.
Minimal

Although remembers some of the elements of dance little attention paid to how movements are done or other details of dance.
Movement & Participation

Execution of basic turns, pulls up, is "on her leg", controls the movement, SPOTTING, useful arm placement.

Excellent

The dancer executes all of the turns in their dance with precision and poise.Turns are technically correct and precise. Dancer is a true joy to watch Execution of all turns are flawless.
Good

The dancer executes most of the turns correctly but has some technical problems with a few of them. Working towards accuracy and control
Acceptable

The dancer executes some of the turns correctly but loses form and has a difficult time staying balanced at the end of the movements. Occasionally loses focus.
Partial

The execution is generally not focused, but only some attempts are made to a few of the turns. Spotting is not used throughout the turns. Turns are awkward and not executed properly. Dancer displays a few of the elements needed to execute turns confidently
Minimal

The dancer is not very focused on making any attempts to execute turns and gives up on trying.
Terminology

Terminology and execution of knowledge. plie, releve, tendu, chasse, battement, pirouette, chaine, developpe, pas de bourree, etc.

Excellent

Shows a complete understanding and execution dance vocabulary and delivers each with precision and poise. Toes are pointed, legs are straight and in correct alignment during moves, power and momentum are used. Dancer controls the beginning middle and end of move. Preparations are technically correct.
Good

Shows an understanding of the move however delivery is not technically sound and precise. Most moves are correct but execution on some are show elements that are not in place.
Acceptable

Nice try on execution but hesitations and casual energy are displayed . Toes are not pointed, sloppy placement, unsure muscle usage. Dancer need more confidence in execution.
Partial

Dancer tries but unable to technically execute movements. Participation is noted but dancer needs additional instruction in execution.
Minimal

Dancer makes little to no attempt to execute dance elements and doesn't try any moves at all.
