Good Project uses mostly correct spelling and punctuation. Writing style makes topic and/or material understandable.	Fair Project has some correct spelling and punctuation. Writing style makes topic and/or material unclear.	Poor Project has little or no punctuation or spelling. Topic or material unclear due to excessive errors.
Facts and Information	Excellent Student displays a variety of correct facts and information. Student uses teacher provided resources as well as own resources.	Good Student displays a variety of mostly correct facts. Good use of provided resources.	Fair Student displays facts, mostly correct. Some use of provided resources.	Poor Student displays a variety of okay facts. Student does not use a variety of resources or teacher provided resources.
Research and Understanding	Excellent Student did significant research and it is entirely in their own words. Student demonstrates a deep understanding of their project.	Good Student did a lot of research and it is presented in their own words. Student shows a clear understanding of their project.	Fair Student did some research but most information is not in their words. Student shows little understanding of their project.	Poor Student did inadequate research. Student does not understand their own project well.
Project Creativity	Excellent The student's project displays great creativity and is presented well and in the correct format. Contains pictures, color, and variety.	Good The student's project displays good creativity and is presented in the correct format. Contains images and color.	Fair The student's project displays decent creativity and is in the correct format with some images.	Poor The student's project displays little to no creativity and is either not done in the correct format or contains no pictures.
