Facts	Poor Student uses no facts, or mostly incorrect facts. No use of required source.	Fair Student uses facts, mostly corect. The facts are based on the source information.	Good Student uses a variety of facts, all correct. The facts are based on the source.	Excellent Students uses all important facts based on the source. Student uses other information learned and integrates it where appropriate.
Analysis of Information	Poor Student does not analyze information from source and demonstrates no understanding of topic/material chosen.	Fair Student has little analysis and it does not correlate with the facts. Insight into topic/material is weak and lacks accuracy.	Good Student has completed a strong analysis with names, facts and importance events. Insight shows slear understanding of the topic/material.	Excellent Student demonstrates a deep understanding of the topic/material through the analysis and correlates it with facts from the source. Insight shows understanding beyond the source.
Writing Mechanics	Poor Student has little or no punctuation or spelling. Topic/material unclear due to excessive errors.	Fair Student has some correct spelling and punctuation. Writing style makes topic/material unclear.	Good Student shows mostly strong spelling and punctuation. Writing style makes topic/material understandable.	Excellent Student has no errors in spelling, punctuation. Writing style adds to the understanding of the topic/material.
