Content Knowledge	Poor The cartoon is lacking in elements required. Significant information has been left out.	Fair Does not have all of the relevant information on the cartoon. There is not enough information displayed. Information is in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.	Good Cartoon includes all relevant information and easy to follow-up. May include 1-2 minor organizational flaws.	Exceeds The cartoon includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this project.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Graphics	Poor Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, texture. Student uses superfluous graphics or no graphics	Fair Student occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation.	Good Student's graphics relate to text and presentation.	Exceeds Eye catching. Great use of graphics and spacing on poster. Student's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation.
Mechanics	Poor Student's content has three or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors. Project was turned in late.	Fair Cartoon has two misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Good Cartoon has no more than one misspelling and/or grammatical errors.	Exceeds Cartoon has no misspellings or grammatical errors.
