Healthy Restaurant Menu Creation This project is designed to get students to create a fun, exciting and healthy menu that would get the public very excited to dine at their restaurant. The focus on menu items are healthy items using Canada's Food Guide. Rubric Code: JX92XCX By jsmutch Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Health Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

Menu Items	1 Has 5 or less menu items. Does not have the required amount of appetizers or entrees. Description of menu items is minimal.	2 Has 6+ menu items. Does not have the required amount of appetizers or entrees. Some menu items are described in detail.	3 Has 10+ menu items. Does not have the required amount of appetizers or entrees. Menu items are described using interesting language.	4 Has all 15+ menu items. * at least 5 appetizers * at least 5 entrees * at least 5 dessert and/or beverage options. Menu items are described in an engaging and interesting manner, using precise language.
Creativity	1 Creativity was not shown. Menu was not decorated to draw public to their menu.	2 Creativity was somewhat shown, but wouldn't necessarily draw the public to their menu.	3 Creativity was shown and menu theme was good.
