Assignment Completeness	Unsatisfactory Less than 1/2 of all items attempted.	AVERAGE Some of items attempted.	GOOD Most of items attempted.	EXCELLENT All items are attempted: Individual: Write a minimum one page paper describing how the lottery works and the chances of winning. Focus on one type of lottery (scratch off, PowerBall, etc.) Group: Write a minimum two page paper describing how the lottery works and the chances of winning in 2 different countries. Example: lottery in the US verses England
Knowledge/Understanding	Unsatisfactory Most answers reflect unsatisfactory understanding	AVERAGE Most answers show average understanding of terms, facts and concepts	GOOD Most answers show good understanding of terms, facts and concepts	EXCELLENT Most answers show excellent understanding of terms, facts and concepts
Neatness	Unsatisfactory Writing is not legible, items are out of order, paper is generally messy and poorly presented. No visual aids in presentation.
