	Superior 20 pts	Excellent 18 pts	Very Good 16 pts	Average 14 pts	Poor 12 pts
Projection	Superior Singing at appropriate volume (audible, yet not shouted) independantly.	Excellent Singing at appropriate volume (audible, yet not shouted) with prompting from teacher.	Very Good -on task -singing, but without confidence -poor breath support	Average -not singing -mumbling	Poor Will not sing.
Tone quality	Superior -Singing with appropriate fullness of tone quality for grade level/age -Good breath support (full tone, no forced sound, no air escaping)	Excellent -Singing with appropriate fullness of tone quality for grade level/age -Good breath support (good tone, not forced, can hear a little breath)	Very Good -singing, though with poor breath support -too little physical effort -Airy sound (lacks fullness in tone)	Average -mumbling -speaking -shouting -whispering (little sound, lot of air)	Poor Will not sing, or sings inappropriately.
Accuracy of Pitch	Superior -Uses proper head voice. -Sings on pitch in correct pitch register all of the time. -Follows melodic direction	Excellent -Uses proper head voice most of the time. -Sings on pitch most of the time.
