Poster Presentation Rubric 
The students will work in groups of four to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the specialty selected by the group. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The group is required to present their poster to the class and instructor.

The poster lacks the required theme, venue, date, and reason for recycling. The information presented is confusing, with many gaps.
Fair

The poster does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.
Good

The poster includes all relevant information. However, it is not well-organized or easily understood.
Exceeds

The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The group added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Work quality/effort

Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the group is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the group is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Good

Work was done with good effort that shows what the group is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.
Exceeds

Work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the group is proud of their work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learners.
Creativity

Poor

Lacks graphics. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks colour.
Fair

Shows some creativity with layout and design. Lots of colours, shapes and appealing design. Has a picture or two to help understand the topic.
Good

Eye catching. Great use of colours, texture, shapes and spacing on the poster. Creative layout and design. Writing is easy to read from a few feet away. Has several pictures to enhance understanding

Spelling/Grammar

Poor

The poster has more than 3 Spelling and/or Grammar errors.
Fair

The poster has 1-2 Spelling and/or Grammar errors.
Good

The poster is free from spelling and/or grammar errors.
