Knowledge of Subject

Did the poster demonstrate accurate information?
Diagram
Plate Direction of movement
Land/Ocean Features indicated

Unacceptable

Poster did a poor job of demonstrating accurate information. Poster did not show evidence of the plate tectonic vocabulary discussed; the two plate tectonic theories(continental drift and seafloor spreading) were not mentioned; Earth's layers(lithosphere, asthenosphere, and mantle)were not displayed on the poster; plate tectonic boundaries(convergent, divergent, and transform fault) were not accurately explained; and landforms(volcanoes, earthquakes, and mountains) were left out of the Poster.
Average

Poster did a fair job in demonstrating accurate information. The poster had minimal plate tectonic vocabulary.in it; one of the two plate tectonic theories(continental drift and seafloor spreading) was mentioned; the Earth's layers(lithosphere, asthenosphere, and mantle) were not all represented; plate tectonic boundaries(convergent, divergent, and transform fault) were not all included; and landforms(volcanoes, earthquakes, and mountains) were not all represented on the poster.
Above Average

Poster did a very good job of demonstrating accurate information. Poster had over half of the plate tectonic vocabulary mentioned; both of the plate tectonic theories(continental drift and seafloor spreading) were included; the Earth's layers(lithosphere, asthenosphere, and mantle) were represented; plate tectonic boundaries(convergent, divergent, and transform fault) were mostly included; and landforms created (volcanoes, earthquakes, and mountains)were mostly all represented in presentation.
Excellent

Poster did an excellent job demonstrating accurate information. The poster displays all of the plate tectonic vocabulary discussed the Earth's layers(lithosphere, asthenosphere, and mantle) were represented; plate tectonic boundaries(convergent, divergent, and transform fault) were all included; and the landforms created (volcanoes, earthquakes, and mountains) were all represented in the poster.
Effort

How involved and detailed were the knowledge facts and how they are displayed?

Unacceptable

Poor effort. Little to no hard work was put into the creation of the poster. The end product is not very polished and or was put together quickly to finish and had poor illustration choices
The presentation fell short of the minimum requirement.
Average
