Throw Stance

level 1

Always has knees bent, facing target, feet shoulder-width apart, eyes on target, object held in dominant hand (palm up) in front of the body.
Arm Back (T throw position)

Never swings the throwing arm back

Occasionally swings the throwing arm back.

Swings throwing arm back most of the time

Always swings the throwing arm back to an extended position and pivots the hips with non throwing arm pointing to target.
Step and Throw

Always steps toward the target with the opposite foot, brings the throwing arm forward, and releases the ball after the hand passes the shoulders. The arm stays slightly bent throughout the entire movement.
Follow Through

Follows through most of the time after releasing the ball
level 4

Always follows through with the throwing shoulder well beyond square to the target and the throwing arm traveling to a point below the waist and to the side oppsite to the throwing arm. The body squares up to the target upon release.
