The Quizzes and presentation reveal that the student comprehends the key events, characters, and their relevance/importance.

Poor

Student has little to no comprehension of the main events/characters or their importance.
Fair

Student displays an understanding of at least one character, and a generalized understanding of 2-3 key events in Act 1.
Excellent

Student displays an understanding of at least 3 characters, and has a specific understanding of more than 3 key events in Act 1.
Knowledge of Testing and Scoring

Students display an ability to identify pertinent questions that are not only important in the story, but also good representations of comprehension for other students to display content knowledge.

Poor

Student creates 0-4 questions that are quality displays of content mastery.
Fair

Student creates 5-9 questions that are quality displays of content mastery.
Excellent

Student creates 10 or more questions that are quality displays of content mastery.
Analysis

Student is able to analyze key quotes from the Act, and which key quotes should be on a formal assessment to best display mastery of content.

Poor

Student has a basic understanding of meaning of 1-2 key quotes from Act 1.
Fair

Student has a proficient understanding of 2-3 key quotes from Act 1.
Excellent

Student has a thorough understanding of 4 or more of the key quotes from Act 1.
