	Poor 0 pts	Fair 4 pts	Good 7 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Cane Construction	Poor No evidence of design is present in canes & significant cracks/gaps visible in segments	Fair Canes show evidence of design but there are some distortions to the interior image &/OR cracks/gaps visible in individual segments	Good Canes show evidence of design but there are minor distortions to the interior image OR minor cracks or gaps visible in individual segments	Excellent Canes are designed carefully with a discernible interior image AND no cracks or gaps are visible between spaces in the individual segments
Cane Slicing and molding	Poor segments not carefully sliced to retain shape and interior design, totally disfigured slices	Fair segments not carefully sliced and placed to retain shape and interior design	Good segments are not carefully sliced and/or placed to retain shape and interior design	Excellent segments are carefully sliced and placed to retain shape and interior design
Neatness	Poor Sculpting is uneven, messy and rough.	Fair Sculpting has several uneven, messy and rough areas.	Good Sculpting has a few uneven, messy and rough areas.	Excellent Sculpting is neatly done, smooth, and even.
