Poetry Activity Summary Rubric
Poetry Activity Summary Rubric
Different styles of poetry with similar themes are posted around the room. Move around the room discussing the meanings or each poem as well as the elements of poetry in each one. When you have finished, write a summary of the relationships between the poems you read. Be sure to draw relationships between the themes of the poems and compare and contrast how each author chose to represent this theme and how the style of the poem affects the message, if it does.
