Tone	Basic Tone is not well supported and airy. Notes are not clearly produced. Percussionists do not perform with a consistent sound.	Partially Proficient Tone is not well supported, but notes are all audible. Percussion sound demonstrates great variation.	Proficient Tone is fairly supported with moments of breathiness. Percussion sound demonstrates some variation.	Advanced Tone is consistantly supported. Percussion sound is consistent with very minor variation.	Rubric Score
Notes	Basic Majority of fingerings are not known, and the student cannot change between notes.	Partially Proficient Fingerings are sometimes correct, but student cannot change between notes without hesitation. Articulation/Sticking	Basic Notes are not tongued and have no definite start or end. Sticking is not followed.	Partially Proficient Notes are not appropriately tongued. Sticking is rarely followed.
