How much Effort am I putting forth? How much Effort am I putting forth? The following rubric is so students can chart their effort and participation in Class. Students should use this rubric often to keep track of how they are performing and the grade they can expect to earn. Effort/Participation	0 Points Doesn't participate in classwork or discussions.	5 Points Student is slow to participate and contribute.	10 Points Should participate in class discussions more.	15 Points Constantly active in participation and contributes for 90% or more of class time.
Cooperation	0 Points Does not follow directions and rules. Argues with classmates or teacher. Does not cooperate with or help other classmates when doing group work. Distracts others often.	5 Points Usually follows directions and rules but needs to cooperate more with teacher and/or classmates. Minimal interaction with others during group work.	10 Points Follows directions and rules for the majority of class. Listens to and shares ideas. Does not distract others from learning.	15 Points Follows directions and rules entire class time. Encourages other students to learn. Listens to and shares ideas. Does not distract others from learning.
Critical/Creative Thinking	0 Points Demonstrates no evidence of clear thought or knowledge of content. Shows no evidence of being able to think critically or use observations to make conclusions.	5 Points Demonstrates some evidence of clear thought and has knowledge of content.
