Garage Band Song Project Garage Band Song Project Students will use the Apple program GarageBand to create a song with at least one beat track, one harmonic track and one melodic track. Length 5 pts The duration of the audio clip	Unsatisfactory Song is less than 30 seconds	Developing Song is between 30 seconds and 1 minute	Meets Expectations Song is 1 - 2 minutes long.	Exceeds Expectations Beat is at least 2 minutes long.
Inclusion of Tracks 5 pts How many tracks in Garage Band	Unsatisfactory Students does not include a live track.	Developing Student does not include all required tracks.	Meets Expectations Student has included all required tracks.	Exceeds Expectations Student has used more than the required number of tracks.
Syncing of Tracks 5 pts Tracks line up well within the song	Unsatisfactory Tracks are not synced well.	Developing Most tracks are synced, but there are times when the tracks do not sound right together.	Meets Expectations All tracks are synced.	Exceeds Expectations All tracks are synced with attention to detail.
Structure 5 pts Attention to the formal repetitions within the track	Unsatisfactory There are no sections repeated during the track.	Developing Little attention is paid to structure.
