Paragraphs	Poor There is less than one paragraph on the state. It is unorganized and does not have details. It does not have an introduction sentence nor does it have a closing statement.	Fair There is one paragraph on the state. Few details are included. There is an intro sentence but no closing statement.	Good There are two well written paragraphs filled with details on the state. There is an interesting opening sentence and a closing sentence.	Excellent There are greater than 3 paragraphs on the state. The details are rich and organized. The opening persuades the reader to continue reader. The closing statement sums up why the reader should come to the state.
Content	Poor The content includes basic information about the state.	Fair The content includes interesting information about the state.	Good The content includes many interesting and unique information about the state.	Excellent The content is well written, includes many interesting types of information and is written in a sequential and interesting way.
Spelling and Grammar	Poor There are many mistakes in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.	Fair Several spelling,grammar and punctuation errors.	Good One or two spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors.	Excellent No spelling, grammar or punctuation errors.
Neatness and Appeal	Poor Unorganized, no pictures.	Fair Some color and organization , few pictures.	Good Colorful and organized. Has some pictures.	Excellent Very colorful, and looks organized. Full of interesting pictures.
Facts	Poor The report has few facts related to the state.	Fair There are less than ten interesting facts about the state.	Good There are many interesting facts about the state.	Excellent The report is full of factual information about the state. It is written with creativity and orginality.
