Literary Comprehension Questions Rubric 
Students are required to answer comprehension questions during/after class readings. Answers must be written in complete sentences and textual evidence must support each answer.

The student answered LESS THAN HALF (25%) of the questions, making the answer difficult to understand. There are INFINITE errors in grammar and/or mechanics evident.

Paper is headed and formatted correctly. The student has skipped lines and completed the assignment in black or blue ink.
Applying

Paper has one error in heading or formatting. The student has skipped lines and completed the assignment in black or blue ink.
Developing

Paper is partially headed or formatted and/or the student has skipped some lines, but completed the assignment in black or blue ink.
Beginning

Paper is not headed neither formatted correctly and/or the assignment has been completed in pencil.
