Passing	Developing Student is somewhat able to pass the ball, but is unable to do so with accuracy.	Proficient Student is able to pass the ball, and with some accuracy.	Excellent Student can perform a solid, accurate pass.
Scooping	Developing Poor/ ( check -) Student cannot scoop up the ball with the stick very well and cannot do it with accuracy.	Proficient Fair/ (check) Student is somewhat able to scoop the ball with the stick and does it with some accuracy.	Excellent Good/ (check +) Student can scoop up the ball with the stick very well and is very accurate.
Respect and Safety	Developing - Student respects self and others some of the time during physical activity. - Student occasionally follows safety precautions. Does not carry the stick in a safe manner and high sticks more than 3 times in a game.	Proficient - Student respects self and others a majority of the time during physical activity. - Follows safety precautions a majority of the time. Sometimes uses the stick in a safe manner and high sticks 2 to 3 times in a game.	Excellent - Student respects both self and others during physical activity. - Follows all safety precautions all of the time. Usually uses the stick in a safe manner and on high sticks more than 1 time in a game.
Active Involvement	Developing Plays the game in one static position, not moving with the play.	Proficient Moves up and down the ice with the play of the game, partially playing their position.	Excellent Moves up and down the ice with the play of the game, playing their position actively.
