Technical skills 5 pts Pointing toes, back straight, arm placement is not sloppy, moves are executed smoothly. USES the technique to move.	Leap! Skills performed with great attention to quality of movement, body position, placement and other details of dance. Also demonstrates an excellent understanding of dance technique. Epaulement specific for each position and transition	Jump! Understands terminology and performs with attention to details of technique, has attained proficiency in movement skills.	Walk! Skill performed with attention to most details of technique, but hasn't attained proficiency in technique style yet. Some technical errors.
Movement & Participation 5 pts Execution of basic turns, pulls up, is "on her leg", controls the movement, SPOTTING, useful arm placement.	Leap! The dancer executes all of the steps, turns, and jumps in their dance with precision and poise.Turns are technically correct and precise. Dancer is a true joy to watch Execution of all turns are flawless.	Jump! The dancer executes most of the turns and steps correctly but has some technical problems with a few of them. Working towards accuracy and control	Walk! The dancer executes some of the turns and jumps correctly but loses form and has a difficult time staying balanced at the end of the movements. Occasionally loses focus.
Terminology 5 pts Terminology and execution of knowledge. plie, releve, tendu, chasse, battement, pirouette, chaine, developpe, pas de bourree, etc.	Leap! Shows a complete understanding and execution of movement and delivers each with precision and poise. Toes are pointed, legs are straight and in correct alignment during moves, power and momentum are used. Dancer controls the beginning middle and end of move. Preparations are technically correct.	Jump! Shows an understanding of the move however delivery is not technically sound and precise. Most moves are correct but execution on some are show elements that are not in place.	Walk! Nice try on execution but hesitations and casual energy are displayed . Toes are not pointed, sloppy placement, unsure muscle usage. Dancer need more confidence in execution.
