Posts well developed content/responses that fully address all aspects of the tasks/requirements. Posts factually correct, reflective and substantive contributions and advances the discussion.

Posts well developed content / responses that address all aspects of the task / requirements; however, lacks full development of concepts. Posts information that is factually correct; however, it lacks full development of thought.

Posts adequate content / responses with superficial thought and preparation; however, doesn't address all aspects of the tasks / requirements. Posts no content / responses. Repeats but does not add substantive information to the discussion. Posts information that is off-topic, incorrect, or irrelevant to the discussion.

Student posts at least three threads, one of which is original. Postings have word range.

Comments distributed throughout the discussion. Participates less than the directed number/frequency of posts per week (forum period) or posts contributions that are late.

Comments neither distributed nor concentrated throughout the discussion; does not participate.

Contributes to discussion with clear, concise comments formatted in an easy to read style that is free of grammatical or spelling errors. Unprofessional comments or behaviors are present.

Contributes valuable information to discussion with minor clarity or mechanics errors. Less than two grammar errors; no unprofessional comments or behaviors.

Communicates in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner with some errors in clarity or mechanics. Less than 5 grammar errors, no unprofessional comments or behaviors. Posts long, unorganized or rude content that may contain multiple errors or may be inappropriate. Unprofessional comments or behaviors.
