Marketing ( Selling Project) skit/oral presentation 
Reference Chapter 12, 13, 14 and 15 in assigned textbook. In groups of two's students must create a new product (new and revised) to demonstrate the selling process. A flyer for (Advertisement-Magazine Advertisement) must accompany product. Students must demonstrate all activities in the selling process by providing a written skit which shows: the approach, detemining needs, presenting products, overcoming objections, closing the sale, suggestion selling, and follow up. A PowerPoint presentation must also accompany the presentation. As a minimum the PowerPoint must have the following slides: (1) Title slide, (2) Introduction, (3) Sales pitch - how will you sell it and display it, (4) Feature/benefit chart, (5) Demographics- where will it be sold and to who and why, (6) Closing and (7) Works cited slide.

Presentation must describe in detail the selling process, have a powerpoint, typed skit with both buyer and sellers points, and an advertisement. Presentation must be in sequence and follow the steps of a sale as listed in chapters 13,14, and 15.

Presentation does not describe in detail the selling process and or has more than two elements missing from the assignment.
Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.
Fair

Presentation does not describe in detail the selling process and or has at least one of the assigned elements missing from the presentation.
Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.
Good

Presentation has all of the required elements and has met the assignment.
Group presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.
Excellent

Presentation is desribed in an outsanding manner with exceptional details in the selling process, has an outsanding powerpoint, typed skit with both buyer and sellers points, and avery colorful advertisement.

Group does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.

Group is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.

Group is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Group demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Graphics

Backgroud of slides should not detract from presentation, and citation ( at the end of the presentation) should state references. You must also provide a (slide handout to the class for taking notes). a one page advertisement of your law/case for a hand-out to the class.

Poor

Group uses superfluous graphics or no graphics or a hand-out is not provided.
Fair

Group occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation,
Good

All of Group's graphics relate to text and presentation.
Excellent

Group's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Handout is exceptional and shows the selling process in detail.
Mechanics
20 pts

Group's skit is at least one page, double spaced and uses 12pt. New Times Roman writing pitch and generally free from errors.

Poor

Group's presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors. Written skit is not one page long or in the wrong writing font and has three or more errors.
Fair

Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Written skit has two or more errors but may be written in the correct format.
Good

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Skit has met the standards with font and flows very well
Excellent

Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors. Skit has exceeded the standards with more than one page for the skit, flows extremely well and is well reheased before presentation.
Eye Contact and Elocution
20 pts

Poor

Group reads all of report with no eye contact.
Group mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair

Group occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.
Group's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation
Good

Group maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.
Group's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Group maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.
Group uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
