This rubric is designed to assess students ability in designing effective and fun quiz(zes) about their research topic. It must either use a program or their own creativity to design the quiz(zes). 24 points possible need at least 20 points to pass.

Content

Questions and answers must relate to the topic of your research and have full explanations of why the answer is correct.

A Struggling Quizzer

Questions and answers don't have any relationship with the research topic or none are supported by explanations.
A Mediocre Quizzer

Questions and answers have some relationship with the research topic and one is supported by a full explanation.
An Anvancing Quizzer

Questions and answers have a strong relationship with the research topic and some answers are supported by full explanations.
A Master Quizzer

Questions and answers have a strong relationship with the research topic and answers are supported by full explanations.
Grammar/Spelling/Vocabulary

Correct grammar and spelling with a varied and relatively complex vocabulary reflecting the research topic in most of the questions and or answers.

A Struggling Quizzer

Many inaccuracies in either grammar and/or spelling with repetitive or very few vocabulary reflecting the research topic in the questions and or answers.
A Mediocre Quizzer

Many inaccuracies in either grammar and/or spelling with some vocabulary reflecting the research topic in some of the questions and or answers.
An Anvancing Quizzer

Some inaccuracies in the grammar and spelling with a varied vocabulary reflecting the research topic in most of the questions and or answers.
A Master Quizzer

Correct grammar and spelling with a varied and relatively complex vocabulary reflecting the research topic in most of the questions and or answers.
Overall Design

Type face, colors, graphics, transitions are all excellent - readable, large enough, eye-catching and motivating. The design helps make the questions and answers POP!

A Struggling Quizzer

Type face, colors, graphics, or transitions are lacking and not readable, large enough, or interesting. The design interferes with understanding the questions and or the answers.
A Mediocre Quizzer

Type face, colors, graphics, or transitions are interesting but not always readable, large enough, or lack an overall excitement. The design doesn't improve the questions and answers!
An Anvancing Quizzer

Type face, colors, graphics, transitions are all consistently - readable, large enough, but lack some overall excitement. The design helps make the questions and answers feel unified!
A Master Quizzer

The research information containing at least 1 fact or other information with no pictures for reference were shared for the learner.
A Mediocre Quizzer

The research information containing at least 2-3 facts or other information with no pictures for reference were shared for the learner.
An Anvancing Quizzer

The research information containing at least 4-5 facts or other information and a picture for reference were shared for the learner.
A Master Quizzer

The research information containing at least 5 - 7 facts or other information and pictures for reference were shared in a form pleasing for others to learn.
