Shows leadership qualities and a positive attitude. Is a mature student who sets the example for others.

Has a good attitude most of the time and is pleasant during rehearsal.
Basic

Attitude varies from rehearsal to rehearsal. Some days are positive while other days a lack of maturity and respect are exhibited.
Below Basic

Does not seem enthusiastic about participating in choir. May exhibit immature or disrespectful behaviors.
Poor

Shows a complete lack of desire for learning. Contributes nothing to his or her own learning and distracts from the learning of others.
Audience during Concert

Advanced

Student follows the thought process of the director during concert. Student anticipates what will happen next. Student actively listened to other musical groups
Proficient

Student pays attention most of the time in concert but may not be completely engaged in the process. They maintain an acceptable level of focus most of the time.
Basic

STUDENT LEFT EARLY! Student is frequently disengaged from the concert. May be talking or creating distractions that interfere with the success of the groups.

STUDENT LEFT EARLY Does not exhibit an understanding or appreciation of the performance groups.

Advanced

Attended the concert and fully participated during all musical selections, demonstrated appropriate performance practices. Student ALWAYS looked at the conductor and accurately followed their direction.
Proficient

Attended the concert and mostly participated during all musical selections, demonstrate appropriate performance practices most of the time. Student ALMOST ALWAYS looked at the conductor and accurately followed their direction.
Basic

Attended the concert and sometimes participated during all musical selections, sometimes demonstrated appropriate performance practices. Student SOMETIMES looked at the conductor and accurately followed their direction.
Below Basic

Attended the concert but did not fully participate during all musical selections, did not demonstrate appropriate performance practices.Student RARELY looked at the conductor and accurately followed their direction.
Poor

Musicianship

Sings in tune with musicality. Exhibits sensitivity to blend, dynamics and artistry of the song. Constantly growing as a musician. ALL lyrics were memorized
