Oral Presentation Oral Presentation The purpose of this rubric is to assess student performance on their geography presentation. The class was asked to develop a chart and a 3 minute presentation to highlight a place that they would like to visit. Content	Needs improvement The student is off topic and do not highlight the content of their poster. Presenters do not address the specific content of their poster.	Good The student did not talk about all the points that are listed on their poster. Presentation well organized, some hesitation.	Excellent The presentation highlights all the issues and suggestions featured on the poster. There is a smooth flow to the presentation. Student is well prepared.
Length of Presentation	Needs improvement The presentation is 1 minute or less.	Good The presentation is 2 minutes or less.	Excellent The presentation is 3 minutes, the student did not have to be cut off.
Poise	Needs improvement Slouches and/or makes no eye contact with the audience. Audience was unable to hear student.	Good Stands up straight, but makes inconsistent eye contact with the audience. Student had to be reminded to speak loud enough to be heard.	Excellent Student is confident. Stands up straight and makes consistent eye contact with the audience. Student spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear.
Q&A	Needs improvement Student could not answer questions about their poster.	Good Student was hesitant in their responses but gave accurate information regarding their work.	Excellent Student gave informative responses about their poster without any hesitation
