Shop Safety Shop Safety Rubric used to assess student process and performance in completing daily shop activities in Auto, Woods, and Welding. Rubric Code: FXAC2CX By dragonjohn Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Vocational Type: Assignment Grade Levels: 9-12

Ability to Follow Directions	20 Followed directions to the letter. Used other peers for guides.	18 Followed directions. Listened to others around him/her when needed.	15 Moderately followed directions. Worked at a pace that was productive but didn't listen to the instructor	12 Did not follow directions for any of the task and at times refused to slow down to do task well.<BR> <BR> Was Absent from class.
Level of Needed Assistance	20 Student was able to complete the task without assistance.	18 Student was able to complete the task with little assistance.	15 Student was able to complete the task with moderate assistance from instructor and peer.	12 Student was unable to complete task without major assistance.
Application of Safety Practices	20 Student followed all safety rules. Student must have PPE covered shoes, pants, jewelry removed, eye protection, hearing protection, long hair tied back, and no loose clothing allowed.	18 Student followed most safety rules, may have forgotten one.
