Trash To Treasure Trash To Treasure You will decide on a material(s) to be reused. You must create something completely different with this material and it must be functional and/or artistic. You will have to make at least one model and you must provide your own materials. You can search the internet for ideas but the more original your idea is the better you will score on this project. Each prototype will be judged by a committee of teachers. This project is a grade and the person will win the competition too. End Plastic Pollution

functionality	Poor Model is not sturdy for its puropse. It is not very convenient or easy to use.	Fair Model is sturdy enough to demonstrate its use at least once. There is minimal difficulty in using it. Model is somewhat convenient.	Good Model is made well and it is sturdy enough to demonstarte more than once. Model is easy to use and would benefit the user.
neatness	Poor Model is not aesthetically pleasing.	Fair Model is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. There are a few edges, etc. that are not crisp or tailored.	Good Model looks great! All joints, seams, etc are well tailored/made. Aesthetic detail has been added such as colors, textures, etc.
originality	Poor Design has been used many times.	Fair Design is unfamiliar to the audience even though it is not original. You may not have designed this on your own but you did enough research to find a great idea that the judges had not seen before.	Good You created this design on your own. There are no similar designs else where to be found.
complexity	Poor The intended use of your model is not very different than what it was originally meant for. You only used one reuseable item to make one model.	Fair The model has a different use than what the material was originally meant for but still has a similar theme. You were able to use more than one reuseable item to create one model.	Good The model is a complete transformation from what it was meant for. You were able to use up several reuseable items to create one model.
