3D Chinese Project 3D Chinese Project 3D Chinese Project Rubric: The project can be based on either Chinese culture or Chinese scenery. Be creative! Your project can be freestanding, hung from the ceiling, or mounted on poster board. You will submit a typed paragraph describing your project with your completed project. The completed projects will be displayed during Chinese New Year week (Feb 4 - 8). Grading will be done by selected teachers and students. Dimensionality 25 pts Is the project 3D?	Poor No 3D was observed.	Needs Improvement 3D project was not complete.	Good Had a 3D project but some areas needed some fixing.	Very Good Had a complete 3D project. Followed guidelines.	Outstanding Had a complete 3D project and went above and beyond expectation.
Composition 25 pts Was the layout effective? Did the main componemt stand out?	Poor The main component did not stand out.	Needs Improvement Needs to work on it more. It was confusing to see which was the main component of the art.	Good Shows that effort was put into the composition.	Very Good A definate focus on composition was evident, with the main component obvious.	Outstanding An excellent composition with an obvious component standing out.
Craftsmanship 25 pts Have the images been altered, cut out neatly and secure?	Poor No care was taken when altering and cutting the images.	Needs Improvement The images were cut but have several rough edges and some were secure in the box.	Good The images were cut neatly and not were secure.	Very Good The images were cut neatly and most were taped securely.	Outstanding The images were cut very carefully and glued down securely, not being able to see the adhesive.
Execution 25 pts Was the result of the project carried out completely?	Poor Student did no execution with this project.	Needs Improvement Student did not completely execute the project.	Good Student executed project.	Very Good Student did very well in executing this project.	Outstanding Student went beyond execution to carry out this project.
