Continuity/Phrasing/Fluidity How well does the student use his/her understanding of the story to inform his/her reading?	Advanced Student's recitation of the poem is natural; no unwarranted pauses.	Intermediate The student recited the poem with reasonable pauses that do not interfere with the natural flow of the writing.	Novice Pauses interfere with natural flow of language. Recitation may be fragmented; barely intelligible.
