Pencil Grasp

1

Hand over hand to hold a writing tool, or adaptation needed (list _______)

Grasps pencil in fist, thumb positioned up.

Drawing Skills

Hand over hand to make marks on paper.

Glueing Skills

Hand over hand to use glue or glue stick.

Understands the purpose and function of glue sticks and liquid glue.

Manipulation skills

Hand over hand to manipulate objects and interact with them.

Uses isolated index finger to point/poke, picks up small items with a raking motion.

Uses pincer grasp and lateral grasp to pick up and manipulate small items.

Moves item within hand, for example, moves item from palm to fingertips
