Fine Motor Skills

Pencil Grasp	1 Hand over hand to hold a writing tool, or adaptation needed (list _______)	2 Grasps pencil in fist, thumb positioned up.	3 Grasps pencil in palm, thumb down.	4 Grasps pencil using thumb and fingers, (quadrapod or lateral tripod grasp)
Drawing Skills	1 Hand over hand to make marks on paper.	2 Able to scribble within the boundaries of the paper.	3 Able to imitate circular, vertical, horizontal strokes.	4 Able to add own details to the drawing
Glueing Skills	1 Hand over hand to use glue or glue stick.	2 Understands the purpose and function of glue sticks and liquid glue.	3 Able to open/close the desired adhesive dispenser.	4 Able to apply the apporpriate amount of adhesive to the smaller item to complete the task.
Manipulation skills	1 Hand over hand to manipulate objects and interact with them.	2 Uses isolated index finger to point/poke, picks up small items with a raking motion.	3 Uses pincer grasp and lateral grasp to pick up and manipulate small items.	4 Moves item within hand, for example, moves item from palm to fingertips
