Dance/Song/Poem for Memorable Math Dance/Song/Poem for Memorable Math This is an assessment in which your team will perform a song, dance, or a poem to help teach a mathematical concept. Your team will choose/make a song, dance, or poem and use it to teach The general appearance of the different basic graphs of polynomial functions. You will research the mathematical concept to be sure you are solid on mastering the concept itself, to then be able to teach others. Kinesthetic Dance for Mem. Math
	Poor 3 pts	Fair 4 pts	Good 5 pts
Mathematical Content	Poor Dance does not have moves that relate to the mathematical content	Fair The dance moves relate somewhat to the concept.	Good The dance moves are completely educational and demonstrate the concept.
Choreography	Poor Very little movement seen in the dance. Few members were included or participating.	Fair At least half of the song was choreographed with at least half of the team participating.	Good The dance moves complete the presentation of the topic. All members were included and participating.
Presentation	Poor The concept was not presented in a way that showed understanding of the topic. Moves were "hokey" (NOT cool), or not particularly memorable, and fourth graders would be embarassed to do them.	Fair Half of the team presented in a way that showed understanding of the topic, but some were not on task, or not cooperating. Some showed little understanding of the dance/words. Moves were o.k. in the cool factor, somewhat memorable, and fourth graders wouldn't resist doing them.	Good All team members were participating. Moves were synchronized and/ or done in an orderly fashion. Moves were COOL and memorable and fourth graders would like to do them.
