The purpose of this rubric is to allow the younger student to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. This can also be used for older students who lack the appropriate skills to write this type of essay.

The essay is difficult to read due to errors in grammar, spelling, capitalization or punctuation. Re-Do.
