Production Value	Poor The documentary was clearly made with no attempt of producing a quality project.	Fair The documentary had many avoidable and critical shortcomings.	Good The documentary had a few , non- critical, but avoidable shortcomings.	Excellent The video was well explained and clearly produced with care and attention to detail.
Storytelling	Poor Student is not aware of the cinematic techniques, modes, and creative treatment of reality used in each documentary.	Fair Student has some awareness of the cinematic techniques, modes and creative treatment of reality used in each documentary.	Good Student has good awareness of the cinematic techniques, modes and creative treatment of reality used in each documentary. Edits Technique	Poor No use of transitions or no use of nothing. Its completely trash. Lighting trash. Main idea is lost.	Fair Technical problems make the main idea hard to understand.	Good Production values could be better, but main idea is supported.	Excellent Has high-quality sound, video editing, camera work, and transitions.
Growth	Poor Student didn't grow at all and didn't enhance in film skills.	Fair Student vaguely enhanced in film skills and didn't much grow in any skills.	Good Student enhanced in film skills 80%.	Excellent Student successfully enhanced film skills and grew and prospered through out the whole documentary.
On Time?	Poor Student has failed to turn assignment in at all.	Fair Student turned in assignment VERY late and got 10 points deducted from final grade.	Good Student turned in assignment on the 2nd day and lost 5 points from their final grade.	Excellent Student successfully turned in assignment on time.
