Sanitization & Setup

Student follows directions and stays on task

Student needed a high level of supervision to complete the initial sanitation and setup.
All sectioning lines were crooked and placement was not in proper postion with ears or nose.

Student is unable to use more than one tool at a time. Continually sets tools down. Stuggles to manipulate wraps and rods when winding hair. Struggles to manipulate the round bruch and blowdryer without setting one or both tools down frequently.

Student can use more than 1 tool but struggles setting tools down frequently.
Good

Student uses tools satisfactorily, Uses proper hand movements. Uses tools safely.
Excellent

Student was able to use tools easily while manipulating hair.
Problem Solving

Student takes initiative to problem solve

Poor

Student doesn't remember to adjust manekin head to so that work can be done easier. Doesn't rewet hair during four section activities.
Allows floor to become soaked with water rather than to use additional towelsl.

Student recongnizes problems but doesn't react or seek assistance.

Student recognizes and acts to solve problems but uses more steps than is necessary. Is willing to seek assistance.
