Creativity	Poor Does not listen to feedback or encouragement. Students say "I can't"	Developing Students lacks effort into developing their own ideas by copying the same ideas of table mates.	Good Students develop their own ideas, but not something that is new or unique compared to examples that are shown. Student does not have the bravery to try their own creativity.	Excellent Student went out and beyond by coming up with their own unique ideas. Student is not afraid to try or experiment with new ideas from the rest of their class mates
Craftsmanship	Poor Student lacks accountability for what art work they turn in.	Developing Student does not check for small details that could be fixed. Dots in Aboriginal art are not evenly spaced nor how to clean up mistakes.	Good Student has good craftsman ship and has an idea of what good craftsmanship looks like. Student lacks to go over small details or double check to see if their artwork looks good.	Excellent Student takes their time to check for small details and makes their work up to their best ability. Student checks their work for neatness.
Following Directions	Poor Student does not follow directions.	Developing Student follows directions but does not take the advice of fellow students or teachers.	Good Student followed directions and took advice from teacher.	Excellent Student payed attention to directions and listened for the small details to make their artwork to stand out.
Use of Space	Poor Student did not use negative space around their project.	Developing Student used the negative space around their artwork but lacked to have a planned design of aboriginal dot work.	Good Student had a good use of negative space, and added their own designs that resembled the assignment.	Excellent Student has a great sense of design of how to use negative space and make the negative space relate to their animal design.
Content Standard 1PR and 1PE	Poor Student does not understand content standard	Developing Student has some grasp of what the standard meant but developing the connection between the standard and the standard	Good Student understand the content standards and somewhat understands how the standard relates to project.	Excellent Student fully understands the content standard and how the standard connected with the project
