Neatness and Organization 10 pts	Excellent Project is organized and easy to read. There are no missing sections and sections have proper headings.	Good Project is organized and easy to read. There is one missing heading and/or section	Fair Project is somewhat organized and easy to read. There are a few missing headings and/or sections.	Poor Project is not organized according to topics and is very hard to read. Missing many sections and/or headings.
Content - Primary Character 5 pts	Excellent Student has 4 or more descriptions, character traits and changes that the main character went through in the novel.	Good Student has 3 or more descriptions, character traits and changes that the main character went through in the novel.	Fair Student has 2 or more descriptions, character traits and changes that the main character went through in the novel.	Poor Student has 1 or more descriptions, character traits and changes that the main character went through in the novel.
Content - Secondary Characters 5 pts	Excellent Student correctly identifies four main characters and gives a full description of their roles in the novel.	Good Student is able to identify 3 or fewer characters and/or gives a brief description.	Fair Student is able to identify 2 or fewer characters and/or gives a brief description.	Poor Student is able to identify 1 or fewer characters and gives a brief description.
Content- Predictions 5 pts	Excellent Student has five predictions based on information in the novel, given with page numbers or chapters that the predictions happened.	Good Student has four predictions based on information in the novel, given with page numbers or chapters that the predictions happened	Fair Student has three predictions based on information in the novel, given with page numbers or chapters that the predictions happened	Poor Student has less than three predictions based on the novel and give no page numbers or chapters where they occurred.
Content- Settings 5 pts	Excellent Student has five descriptions of key settings in the novel with enough details to paint a picture with words.	Good Student has four descriptions of key settings with some details from the novel.	Fair Student has three descriptions of key settings with some details from the novel.	Poor Student has less than three descriptions of key settings with little or no detail.
